Friends of Banning Museum presents a lecture on the Transcontinental Railroad. The lecture will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Banning Museum, located at 401 East “M” Street, Wilmington, CA 90744. The lecture will start at 10:00a.m. and will be located in the historic Stagecoach Barn.

Come join us as we learn about the 150th anniversary of when the “Golden Spike” was driven at Promontory Point, Utah and how the Transcontinental Railroad affected Los Angeles and our Nation. This lecture will be presented by lifelong railroad enthusiast, Jay Kelly and there will be a question and answer period after the lecture. The lecture is FREE for Friends of Banning Museum members and children under 12. General admission is $5.00. For more information or to RSVP, please call 310-548-2005.
