July 26, 27th and 28th

Pacific Unitarian Church, Henriksen Hall

5621 Montemalaga Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes

As Harvard University Buddhist Chaplain, Lama Migmar Tseten has served faculty, students and staff on campus and at the Sakya Institute for Buddhist Studies (established in 1990 with the patronage of HH Sakya Trizin) for over twenty years.

A highlight of this weekend’s healing retreat at Pacific Unitarian Church in Palos Verdes is the Dakini’s Heart-Essence Chod. Lama Migmar will guide you step by step through this immersive and gentle practice. Based upon the female Buddha Vajrayogini, the ritual originated with the tenth century Indian yogi Mahasiddha Naropa and was passed down through the ages to Lama Migmar’s guru, Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, also the guru of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It has been used continuously to unblock any obstacle to complete well-being. Healing Chod is suitable for everyone, including those with chronic or mild illnesses. All are welcome.

No prior knowledge, established practice, or experience of Buddhism is required.
