Friends of Banning Museum presents a lecture on “Victorian Mourning”. The lecture will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Banning Museum, located at 401 East “M” Street, Wilmington, CA 90744. The lecture will start at 10:00a.m. and will be located in the historic Stagecoach Barn.

Come join us as we explore the social practices, superstitions, mourning attire, jewelry and rituals practiced by the American people during the Victorian Era. There will be a question and answer session after the lecture along with a walk-thru of the Museum’s Victorian Mourning Exhibition. The Mourning Exhibition in the Museum opens October 22 and ends on November 3, 2019.

Admission to the event is FREE for Friends of Banning Museum members and children under 12. Non-members are $5.00. For more information or to RSVP please call 310-548-2005.
