The eighth annual Peninsula High School Physics Boat Races were held last week in the Jackie Prindle Pool. This year, Superintendent Don Austin and Soleado Elementary School Principal Gina Stutzel were invited to join the race. Austin won his heat, but soon sank after reaching the finish line. Stutzel was a close second.  Peninsula High School Principal Mitzi Cress thanked Physics teachers Mark Greenberg and Mike Spalding for their efforts putting on the event each year, a press release said.
