More than 300 people attended last week’s private performance at the Belmont Village in Rancho Palos Verdes to benefit and bring awareness to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The concert was considered a huge success and raised more than $3,500. The featured musician was Grammy-nominated pianist and contemporary jazz musician David Benoit who joined violinist Gail Gerding-Mellert for a collaborative selection. Gering-Mellert owns and operates a private studio for aspiring violinists in the South Bay area.
