Palos Verdes Performing Arts kicks off its 2018-19 season at the Norris Theatre, on Saturday with the popular entertainer Michael Feinstein.
The season is filled with a diverse line-up of shows that includes Broadway musicals, plays, dance and concerts ranging from classic rock, to country. The nonprofit organization is celebrating its 36th year of bringing professional entertainment to the South Bay.
Singer and pianist Michael Feinstein has spent three decades bringing the music of the Great American Songbook to the world. Feinstein is an all star force in American music and his Norris Theatre concert will showcase the greatest popular standards of the century through song and story.
Feinstein has five Grammy Award nominations, Emmy nominated PBS-TV specials and an acclaimed NPR series. He's appeared at the White House, Buckingham Palace, Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House.
