Shockboxx Gallery's pop-up show, “Don't Shoot Me Down,” an “artful dialog about guns in American culture,” takes place Labor Day weekend, at the art showcase located at 636 Cypress Ave. in Hermosa Beach.

In support of March for Out Lives and The Brady Campaign, the show features the work of 10 South Bay artists on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 2, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Palos Verdes artists participating include Ellen Cantor, Jody Wiggins, Carol Hungerford, Nancy Sewell and Ben Zask.
