Feb. 14-18

Burglary (storage locker): Sometime between 1-1:30 p.m. on the 6500 block of Ocean Crest Drive, a padlock was removed and a tool bag containing power tools were reported stolen.

Feb. 20

Burglary (residential): Sometime between 3:30-6:30 p.m. on the 6100 block of Scotmist Drive, jewelry and cash were reported stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.

Feb. 20-21

Attempted burglary: Sometime between 9 p.m.-9 a.m. on the 2000 block of Santa Rena Drive, a sliding glass door was smashed. Nothing was reported stolen.

Feb. 20-27

Burglary (commercial): Sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 11:20 a.m. on the 31200 block of Palos Verdes Drive, a glass window and a lamp were smashed.

Feb. 25-26

Burglary (vehicle): Between 2 p.m.-6:30 a.m. on the 27800 block of Palmeras Place. There were no signs of forced entry.

Feb. 26

Attempted burglary (residential): At 6:22 p.m. on the 4100 block of Dauntless Drive, a bathroom window screen was removed, but nothing was reported stolen. The suspect is a black female, 20-30-years-old with her hair in a bun, wearing a light-colored sweater, leggings, and high top sneakers. A dark-colored 4-door sedan was seen just prior to the suspect knocking on the door.

Feb. 26

Burglary (business): Between 8:30-8:45 p.m. on the 28700 block of Western Avenue, a hatch was found open.

March 1

Attempted burglary: Between 12:54-2:12 a.m. on the 5600 block of Crestridge Road, an open door was reported. Nothing was stolen. A suspect was arrested.

Burglary (residential): Between 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on the 3400 block of Deluna Drive, a bedroom window was open and a watch and jewelry was reported stolen.

Burglary (residential): Between 5:15-8:40 p.m. on the 3200 block of Deluna Drive, a rear-sliding glass door was opened and jewelry was reported stolen.

March 3

Grand theft: Between noon-1 p.m. on the 29000 block of Western Avenue, a handbag, cash, jewelry and a cell phone was reported stolen.

March 3

Grand theft (auto): Between 6:30-9:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Deep Valley Drive, a 2012 blue, 4-door Lexus ES 350 was reported stolen.

Theft: Sometime between 11:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m., Feb. 25-26, on the 2500 block of Via Campesina, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s locked vehicle and reportedly removed miscellaneous property.

Feb. 28

Burglary: Sometime between 5 p.m.-9:30 a.m., Feb. 27-28, on the 4200 block of Via Alondra, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering a rear sliding door, ransacked the residence and reportedly removed miscellaneous property.

March 2

Traffic offense: At 12:24 a.m. near Palos Verdes Drive west and Cloyden Road, an officer conducted a traffic stop and cited the driver for driving on a suspended license and expired registration.

Hit and run: At 7:06 a.m. on the 700 block of Via Del Monte, an unknown driver allegedly struck a legally parked vehicle and left the scene without leaving their contact information.

Home invasion robbery: At 8:44 p.m. on the 700 block of Via La Cuesta, 4-5 unknown suspects entered the victim’s residence through a second floor glass door, tied-up the two homeowners and reportedly took cash and jewelry.

March 4

Traffic offense: At 2:03 a.m. on the 1500 block of Palos Verdes Drive West, an officer conducted a traffic stop and cited the driver for driving on a suspended license and driving without an ignition interlocking device.

Warrant arrest: At 7:34 p.m. near Palos Verdes Blvd. and Calle Mayor, an officer received a hit on an automated license plate reader regarding a stolen vehicle and arrested the driver for vehicle theft and an outstanding warrant.

Feb. 20

Burglary (business): At 4:11 a.m. on the 400 block of Silver Spur Road, the lower window pane was pried open and a variety of phones, tablets, and phone cases were allegedly stolen. The suspect is a white male, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, with a short buzz cut style haircut wearing a black bandana, gray hoodie jacket, a blue shirt, tan khaki pants, and driving a dark-colored late model 4-door hatchback sedan.

Feb. 21

Petty theft (shoplifting): At approximately 9 p.m., suspects allegedly stolen baby formula. The first suspect is a black male, 25-30-years-old, 5-9 to 5-11-feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a red and white shirt, jeans and Michael Jordan-style shoes. The second suspect is a black female, 20-25-years-old, 5-6 to 5-7-feet tall, 150 pounds with long braided hair. She was wearing a gray tank top, dark leggings and carrying a block of bag style purse. The suspects left in a dark 4-door vehicle.

Feb. 22-23

Burglary (commercial): Sometime between 4 p.m.-9 a.m. on the 27300 block of Palos Verdes Drive east, a door was pried open. What was stolen was unknown at the time of the report.

Feb. 24-25

Burglary (commercial): Sometime between 10 p.m.-8 a.m., a Peninsula Center door was pried open. What was stolen was unknown at the time of the report.
