Vandalism

Before 10:47 a.m. at Palos Verdes High School, spray paint was used on the ground on campus.

Sept. 22

Impaired driver

At about 2:34 a.m. in the 300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sept. 23

Impaired driver/Warrant arrest

At about 2:19 a.m. at the intersection of Palos Verdes Drive North and Via Valmonte, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol. A passenger was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Burglary

At about 3:44 a.m. in the 2400 block of Via Sonoma, a rear French glass door was broken and an alarm was activated. A parked vehicle was hit.

Vehicle theft

At about 9:32 a.m. in the 1600 block of Via Arriba, a locked vehicle was taken without the owner’s permission.

Vehicle burglary

Before 12:12 p.m. in the 300 block of Paseo De La Playa, a hidden key was used to gain entry into a locked vehicle and property was reported stolen.

Sept. 24

Burglary

At about 1:22 p.m. in the 600 block of Yarmouth Road, three suspects matching descriptions provided by a victim were arrested after they were found near the scene of a recent burglary. They were in possession of stolen property and two were on probation for burglary.

At about 3:48 p.m. in the 4100 block of Via Solano, a sliding glass door was broken and property was reported stolen.

Sept. 18

Burglary (vehicle)

Between about 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. in Trump National Drive, a rear window was smashed and a purse, wallet, credit cards and a key were reported stolen.

Burglary (residential)

Between about 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in Coach Road, a key was used to open a front door and a computer was reported stolen.

At about 6:42 p.m. in the 1400 block of Toscanini Drive, a rear sliding glass door was shattered with a hammer.

Between about 1 p.m. Sept. 18 and 10 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 30500 block of Camino Porvenir, a rear window was smashed and a TV was reported stolen.

Sept. 19

Burglary (vehicle)

Between about 9 p.m. Sept. 19 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 2000 block of Trudie Drive, a firearm and hand tools were reported stolen.

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 6 p.m. Sept. 19 and 5 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 2700 block of Calle Aventura, an ID card, tire jack and tote bags containing tools, a fire extinguisher and flashlights were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

During this time, one suspect was arrested on drugs charges, two for vandalism and one for vehicle violation charges.

Sept. 17

Burglary (commercial)

Between about 4 p.m. Sept. 17 and noon Sept. 18 in the 27300 block of Palos Verdes Drive East, a rear door was pried open and an iPad and U.S. currency were reported stolen.

Sept. 18

Petty theft (shoplifting)

Between about 5:43 a.m. and 5:48 a.m. in the Peninsula Center, multiple vodka, tequila and whiskey bottles were reported stolen.

Sept. 20

Petty theft (shoplifting)

At about 4:05 p.m. in the Peninsula Center, miscellaneous alcohol bottles and body washes were reported stolen. Two suspects were arrested.

Sept. 22

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 5 p.m. Sept. 22 and 8 a.m. Sept. 23 in Silver Saddle Lane, a vehicle jump starter and dash camera were reported stolen.

Sept. 23

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 12:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and 8 a.m. Sept. 24 in Sunnyfield Drive, a phone charger was reported stolen.

Assault with a deadly weapon (gun)

At about 4:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Silver Spur Road, two people escaped in a white truck.

Arrests/citations

During this time, two suspects were arrested on conspiracy charges, two for vehicle violations and three for outsanding warrants.

Sept. 18

Petty theft

Between about 10 a.m. and noon in the 4000 block of Montaigne Way, a firearm and ammunition were reported stolen.

Sept. 22

Burglary (vehicle)

Between about 7 p.m. Sept. 22 and 8 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 26600 block of Westvale Road, a handicap placard, iPhone charger and bifocal sunglasses were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

During this time, one suspect was arrested on drugs charges, one for vehicle violations and one for an outstanding warrant.
