Sept. 26

Warrant Arrest

At about 1:42 a.m. in the 1700 block of Palos Verdes Drive West, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver and passenger for outstanding warrants.

Sept. 27

Warrant Arrest

At about 9:57 a.m. at Via Rivera and Paseo Lunado, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant.

Burglary

At about 4:29 p.m. in the 2400 block of Via Pacheco, a home was entered and items possibly removed. Two people fled in a dark SUV driven by a third person.

Sept. 28

Impaired Driver

At about 1:03 a.m. in the 3400 block of Palos Verdes Drive West, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Warrant Arrest

At about 11 a.m. at Palos Verdes Drive West and Via Carrillo, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for multiple outstanding warrants.

Sept. 29

Drugs/Traffic Offense

At about 1:24 a.m. in the 3000 block of Palos Verdes Drive North, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for posession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. A passenger was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Criminal Threat

At about 8;45 a.m. in the 600 block of Cloyden Road, a victim was willfully and maliciously verbally threatened on school grounds.

Oct. 2

Theft

Between Sept. 25 and Oct. 2, a victim’s personal check was obtained by unknown means, then washed and cashed at an unknown location.

Rancho Palos Verdes

Sept. 27

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 12:01 a.m. Sept. 27 and 6:20 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 6900 block of Los Verdes Drive, a driver’s license, vehicle registration, vehicle title, pink envelope and personal checks were reported stolen from a vehicle. One suspect was arrested.

Sept. 30

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 10 p.m. Sept. 30 and 6 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 6600 block of Via Siena, a purse, driver’s license, credit card and vehicle key were reported stolen.

Oct. 1

Burglary (shoplifting)

At about 8;28 a.m. in the 28500 block of Western Avenue, miscellaneous food products were reported stolen from an open business.

Oct. 3

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 4700 block of Lone Valley Drive, a coin purse and U.S. currency were reported stolen.

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 6 p.m. Oct. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 4700 block of Lone Valley Drive, U.S. currency and miscellaneous papers were reported stolen.

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

Between about 11 a.m. Oct. 3 and 6 a.m. Oct. 4 in the 6700 block of Los Verdes Drive, a checkbook and miscellaneous mail were reported stolen.

Oct. 4

Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)

At about 6:15 a.m. in the 4700 block of Browndeer Lane, mail and a checkbook were reported stolen. Two suspects were arrested.

Oct. 5

Petty theft (bicycle)

Between about 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Los Verdes Drive, a bicycle was reported stolen.

Oct. 7

Grand theft (auto)

At about 2 p.m. in the 1900 block of Upland Street, a white, four-door BMW 740i was reported stolen. The vehicle was recovered.

Arrests/citations

During this time, two suspects were arrested for burglary, two for conspiracy, two on drugs charges, one for grand theft auto, one for receiving stolen property and two for outstanding warrants.

Oct. 3

Burglary (locker)

Between about 5:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Peninsula Center credit cards were reported stolen.

Oct. 6

Burglary (vehicle)

Between about 9:05 p.m. and 9:43 p.m. in the 500 block of Deep Valley Drive, jewelry, a handbag, a driver’s license, credit cards and gift cards were reported stolen.

Oct. 7

Burglary (vehicle)

Between about 10:55 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. in the 500 block of Deep Valley rive, a driver’s side window was smashed and a purse, wallet, U.S. currency, cosmetics, sunglasses, credit cards and a driver’s license were reported stolen.

Arrests/citations

During this time, one suspect was arrested for grand theft auto and one for kidnapping.
