At about 2:26 p.m. in the 2300 block of Paseo Del Mar, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving on a suspended license and two outstanding warrants.

At about 8:59 a.m. in the 1100 block of Via Coronel, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving on a suspended license and two outstanding warrants.
At about 11:59 a.m. in the 1600 block of Espinosa Circle, an officer arrested the owner of an illegally parked vehicle for two outstanding warrants.
At about 2:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for possession of a controlled substance.
Before Oct. 10, a victim’s personal information was obtained by unknown means and used to open two unauthorized credit card accounts.
At about 2:02 a.m. in the 3800 block of Palos Verdes Drive North, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving on a suspended license.
Before Oct. 12, a victim’s credit card and banking information were obtained by unknown means and unauthorized charges were made to the cards without the victim’s consent. The victim’s mail was also diverted to a new mailing address.
At about 12:34 a.m. at Palos Verdes Boulevard and Calle Mayor, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Before 8:40 a.m. in the 3300 block of Palos Verdes Drive North, miscellaneous property was reported stolen from a vehicle.
At about 9:20 a.m. in the 2200 block of Paseo Del Mar, officers were dispatched and observed a suspect entering a victim’s vehicle and removing property. The suspect fled and was later arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Before Oct. 13, someone posing as a Facebook customer service representative directed the victim to provide them with iTunes gift card pin numbers in exchange for technical support.
Before 9:54 a.m. in the 3300 block of Palos Verdes Drive North, keys left in the center console of a vehicle were used to start the car and move it, and property was reported stolen.
At about 1:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Palos Verdes Drive West, an officer investigating a suspicious vehicle arrested four suspects for suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.
At about 6:22 p.m. at Paseo Del Mar and Avon Road, an officer investigating suspicious subjects arrested the subjects for possession of Nitrous Oxide.

Grand theft (auto)
At about 2 p.m. in the 1900 block of Upland Street, a white 1995 BMW 740i was reported stolen. The vehicle was later recovered.
Petty theft (unlocked vehicle)
Between 8 p.m. Oct. 8 and 10 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 6700 block of Los Verdes Drive, a leatherman, GPS, phone charger, U.S. currency, sunglasses and keys were reported stolen.
At about 4:01 p.m. in the 29100 block of Highmore Avenue, construction tools were reported stolen.
Between about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 12 in the 30100 block of Via Borica, a backpack containing a laptop, pencil pouch, book and hole punch were reported stolen.
Between about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 and 7 a.m. Oct. 13 in the 3900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South, U.S. currency, a parking permit and miscellaneous books were reported stolen.
During this time, one suspect was arrested for grand theft auto, two for vehicle violations, and four for outstanding warrants.
Rolling Hills Estates
Between about 10:55 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. in the 500 block of Deep Valley Drive, a driver’s side window was smashed and a purse, wallet, U.S. currency, miscellaneous cosmetics, sunglasses, credit cards and a driver’s license were reported stolen.
Between about 8:25 p.m. and 9:05 p.m. in Santa Cruze, a window was broken and a French glass door was shattered.
During this time, one suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, one for being drunk in public, one on vehicle violations and one for outstanding warrants.
